Slab flattening also know as surfacing is where we use a large diameter cutting bit approx. 2.5 inches, and slowly skim the surface of the slab until it is completely flat. The slab can then be turned over to flatten the back side. CNC Slab Flattening is very useful for large slabs that are too big to use conventional planers or sanding machines. Or for large boards that are too warped for traditional techniques.  It doesn't matter if its a natural solid wood slab or a glued up wooden panel, we can flatten them all. 

This is also the perfect technique for flattening Epoxy river tables, slabs that have cracks filled with epoxy or other epoxy projects with large surface areas.
